Welcome to Jessica's Hope. This blog is designed to keep friends and family up to date on Jessica's journey with cancer. In all of this we have to always remember, just as Jessica is doing, that Christ is our ultimate hope. He is the sole reason that we live. To Him belong all glory and honor.

Pray. . .

After falling asleep late last night Jessica has yet to wake and has been unresponsive today. The doctors are investigating the cause. The baby is still doing well. Please pray for healing for Jessi, protection for the baby, wisdom for the doctors, and grace for the family.

  10. Clint, this is Michael Whitcomb, we worked at the Wilds together some years ago. I am a pastor in rural Virginia now and have struggled with health issues for the past 5 years, with multiple hospital stays and surgeries. Since we have lost touch, I was unaware of the suffering you and your family have gone through. While not as severe as the trials you are enduring, know that I can and will pray for you earnestly, having dealt with so many of these same issues. I pray for God's good hand to comfort you and strengthen you as you show forth Kingdom living. If you need anything or just want to talk, you can contact me via facebook or twitter. Grace and peace friend.

  11. Clint,

I knew you from the Wilds CIT Camp in '98. I think I saw you at Walmart in TR just a few weeks ago. I had no idea what your family was going through. I am praying for you.

It's been years since we've seen you at school and THE WILDS, but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

  17. Clint,
I met you during CIT at the Wilds in '98 and just heard about what you and your family are going through. I can't even begin to imagine what you are feeling, but I'm so thankful for the amazing testimony to God's grace in your life that is evidenced on this blog. I will bring you before my church family in prayer tomorrow night.

  19. Clint,

I worked with you back at BJ in custodial. We had quite a few long talks about the Lord and His will for our lives. I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I are praying for you and your family. My heart sunk when I found out what you and your family is going through. You told me years ago that even though we may not understand "why", God does.

    Praying for you.

This is Jim and Debbie (Xiao Bai and Jin Da Wei). We just heard of this, and it took us a while to realize the guy in the picture didn't just look like you, but actually was you. We're praying fervently for you! Lean on God in these dark hours, and His grace will sustain you!
